Bjarke Ingels on hedonistic sustainability

April 18, 2012

This is an interesting TED talk from architect Bjarke Ingels, looking at the idea of “hedonistic sustainability”. His idea that sustainability cannot be a moral sacrifice and that it needs to be thought of as a design challenge, seems right on target. Also, interesting piece of information I learned from his video, the Danish harbor is so clean that people can swim in it! And 37% of the population in Copenhagen commutes by bike. That’s awesome!
