Reflecting the Stars in the Hudson River
New Yorkers have most things, but they didn’t really have the night sky or stars until Jon Morris created an installation for The Windmill Factory. The installation called Reflecting the Stars, is made up of 217 solar LED light capsules attached to pier posts in the Hudson river. It may not be exactly the same as star gazing, but it is an interesting and beautiful way to raise awareness about light pollution.
