One of my favorite things about homes designed to meet LEED standards is that they are usually filled with light. Large windows can help reduce energy costs and creates a more inviting atmosphere for residents. Here’s a townhouse recently constructed in Manhattan that meets LEED gold certification. The 6-story townhouse is yours for a mere $6.8 million. Oh, and if you were curious it comes with 12 rooms, 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 15 closets, 2 laundry rooms, 1 wine cellar, an elevator and that shiny gold LEED certification.

Here’s an interesting rendering of the townhouse showing the setbacks and how the townhouse can accommodate so many outdoor spaces.
