Lilacs in arnold arboretum

Hello! How was your weekend? I hope you were able to enjoy spring, perhaps look at some flowers? Go for a walk?

I had one of the most perfect Saturdays. It began with a cappuccino and a Turkish breakfast (how can you go wrong with that?) and ended with a trip to Arnold Arboretum to see the lilacs. It was an early mother’s day celebration, one that I’ll remember fondly. Here are some photographs from the trip, I wish I could have bottled up the lilac scent for you, too!

This dark purple is one of my absolute favorites, so vibrant and rich. What is your favorite color lilac? Do you grow them?
